  • 2017 models of KTM RC 200 and RC 390 launched in India
  • The updated KTM RC 390 and RC 200 models were launched in India today at a price of Rs 2,25,300 and Rs 1,71,740 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. 
  • The RC 390 gets a new side-slung exhaust in a bid to make its 373.3cc single comply with the BS IV norms

  • The 2017 KTM RC 200 comes with a 199.5cc engine which is now BS IV compliant
  • Both the RC twins continue with the WP suspension setup that includes 43 mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock
  • The 2017 KTM RC 390 gets significant cosmetic as well as mechanical updates while its younger sibling only gets a new colour and a BS IV compliant engine.
  • The bigger RC 390 gets a new side-slung exhaust in a bid to make its 373.3cc single comply with the BS IV norms.


  • The liquid-cooled motor also gets a slight bump up of 1Nm in peak torque, pushing it to 36Nm, while the maximum power remains at 43.5PS.
  • The updated bike also gets ride-by-wire technology for a better throttle response while it retains the slipper clutch from its predecessor.

Benelli TNT 400 To compete with the more powerful rivals of Benelli TNT 300, the Italian manufacturer is planning to increase the engine displacement of the bike. The higher capacity engine will produce more power as well as torque and the bike could be renamed as TNT 400 after that. It can be expected to come in existence in the second half of 2016.
